I am sending out this feeler.
Does anyone think there would be an interest in programs or classes on sports injuries, treating endurance athletes, and coordination with athletic events (i.e. triathlons, adventure races, marithons, etc.) that coming to your service area?
I am looking at putting on a presentation for several symposiums and confs. and want to see if there is an interest. I already know there is a need, they just don't realize it.

You want to come up to Canada?
I wish I could get my hands on a few power-points or other training materials specifically in relation to sports injuries. Being a ski/golf resort community with lots of adventure tourism activities going on, we are always treating this stuff.
With some good feedback from a few local doctors, I have grown quite comfortable with the treatment of these injuries, but I am not quite comfortable enough to produce good supplemental training material for my guys just yet. I also have not been able to find very many good quality, labeled diagrams of joints and limbs to use for this.
Anybody know where I can get/download free anatomical posters?
On a related note, I did like the Concussion Article that I found under the FOOPS PDF docs, but once again, I wish I could get those diagrams in jpeg or other independent format.
Yeah, I think there is definately a need for it as long as you can hit the right target areas.
I would defiantly be interested in posting some articles on the subject here. This is an often overlooked area of our training. We really need more info on this subject

I would definitely be interested in some info on the coordination with large-scale athletic events. I do alot of that, and every time we try something different and in the end it's always chaos, not always the organized kind

If anyone is interested, my company does come and present programs and custom training, including wilderness first aid and adventure related programs.

I think it is a great idea! It is a great topic that we don't think about much until we need to. :)
