Yeah, that's too bad. He didn't last very long, it must have been very aggressive or he didn't find out about it right away. I didn't watch him all that often. I am more of an MSNBC/NBC guy myself.

I only can remember one time during my childhood when we were not watching Peter. I can distinctly see Dan Rather During in the Middle East during the early days of the first Gulf war. Other than that it was Peter Jennings everynight of my childhood. And we wathced the news Five nights a week as a family when I was a kid. Everything I need to know about life and current events I learned from Peter Jennings.

I was shocked to hear he died so young, but that is what smoking will do to you. He was a great journalist and he did it all with out ever graduating high school.
