Recently I heard about some new gauze, and I am wondering if anyone has tried it yet or seen it used in the field. The stuff is called HemoStatic gauze. I sound really stupid about the subject, but I just heard about it the other day. Here's a link to the one site, I'm going to check it out! IF anyone has any information about acutal use, let me know! Thanks.

I hadn't heard anything either. It looks like it would be interesting. I wonder how well it works, especially at stopping arterial bleeds. Anyone???Anyone???

There are those who are "slow on the intake", and then there are those who sit at the computer to check new posts ten times a day.... that would be me : ) hehehaha

The product is called BloodStop, it is a hemostatic gauze used in controlling bleeds. For further information go to Yahoo and type in Hemostatic gauze, The information you request will magically appear. I have never used it, I have trouble with opening bandaids, so we can't get too technicnal. I have heard of the product but just passed it off with some other trivia. If I butted in on a private conversation, I apologize!!!!!!
