The case of the missing teen in Aruba, got any ideas where she might be? If she is not on the island, she must be in the ocean. The law system on that island leaves me baffled. I don't have any real purpose other than to get some other viewpoints. What's yours?

This is going to be like the Jon Benet Ramsey case- I think the pooch has been screwed by the local law enforcement.

I just heard on FoxNews that the 3 guys are "officially" being charged with murder. All in all though, a bad situation.

They can be officially charged, but that doesn't mean there is a whole lot of evidence against them. From what I understand, they can be charged without much evidence, just a "resemblance" of evidence. But, of course, I could be wrong.

UHHH no, I don't know her. Hell, i never watch the news or network TV. All I watch are the movie channels. The news depresses me. I prefer to live in my own little world.

When the Dutch Marines jumped off toyota pickups to join in the search, that's when I knew it was a lost cause. And the Governor requested more Dutch Marines be sent to Aruba to help out?? Hmmmmmmmm......

Don't send you daughters to Aruba on vacation is the message being sent.

Yep, I think it is very safe to say. Sexually assaulted and killed to keep her from talking. The thing is, where is the body...in the ocean??

Probably. Some poor couple on their honeymoon is going to look out the window of their cruise ship some morning abd see her body floating in the water.

the hting that gets me the most is the mother keeps yelling about her daughter being a model student and all but she almost had to willingly go with these boys not to have caused some kind of commotion. and also who in their right mind would let their 18 year old daughter go to aruba with out a parent going i know that i wanted to go to mrytle beach in south carolina after i graduated but my parents would not let me go unless they went.

He's not kidding' here. He never watches the news. I have to fill him in on things that go on around the world, or locally, if I think he needs to know about it. If it doesn't directly affect him, he's not interested. When he's not working, he would prefer to keep things simple and upbeat

They had chaperones, but obviously the chaperones didn't go to the night club or the club/restaurant that she went missing from. Personally, I think she may have been "drugged" and if that's the case, I wouldn't consider that going with them on her own. I would not let my kids go on a senior trip out of the country. I don't care how mature and "level headed" they are. I feel certain that if she went on her own, she would have told one of her friends that she was leaving with him/them... whoever she left with. Teenage girls tell their friends everything.

This case is a little difficult to follow. Last night FOX news was carrying a story that one of the suspects stated that Holloway was buried between some fishermans huts, not far from the hotel. "SHOW ME!!!!" but if the suspect would do that, he would be found "GUILTY"! DUH! The way the laws are in Aruba, according to FOX, you have to have a body to have a murder case. Confession or not, unless you can produce a body you have no case. This is a Dutch heritage country and that is the background of law. Something really reeks in this one!!!!!!!!!

Obviously the Aruba case isn't going ANYWHERE, I guess we need a new topic!!! Can't think of anything in the news that really trips my trigger these days.

Someone made the comment about this case turning into another jon bennet ramsey case, that's exactly what's happening. She's dead, everyone knows she's dead, they're not goning to find her body, and they're not going to figure out who killed her. And even if they do, they're not going to be charged because they don't have a body and noone's going to be stupid enough to tell them where it is and seal their fate. It's going to drag on and on and on and end up right where it started from. I can't really think of anything else going on to talk about either. Sorry. If I think of anything I'll let you know.
