If you did not hear about foops.org from any of the poll categories, would you PLEASE post, where you DID hear about us?!?

I happened to see a post from Smurfe on firehouse.com. I didn't think it would hurt to check out foops.

I learned about it from the Yahoo Site. That was a good group, but smurfe you've aout done yourself on this one.

I was just sitting there, minding my own business one day on FH.com when I came across Smurfe's yahoo FOoPS site. I joined and thought it would be an interesting chat session. Never did I dream of the thoughts and aspirations of one little guy we call "Smurfe :D ". Next thing you know Dustin "hageremtp" is telling me that Steve has been trying to get a hold of me to see if I wanted to "come on board". So, not knowing what I was getting myself into, I jumped right in. And look at us now. We certainly are a handsome and beautiful (for the girls) group of dedicated EMS professionals.
Welcome to all and thank you for being a part of a dream come true. I hope you all will get as much out of this as we have!!

Was going through the firehouse forms and happened to come across one of smurfe's early post about the yahoo site and then joined that and when they posted about this site came over and joined this one. I think it is great having a place to vent if needed, to learn from others in my field and out side and to see how things are done in different parts of the country. To smurfe and the board, Keep up the good work Guys and Gals.
This site is awesome.
We certainly are a handsome and beautiful (for the girls) group of dedicated EMS professionals.
I have seen the pictures...are you sure you mean handsome? :twisted:

I am sorta with Brad "IAMEDIC" on this one. I found Smurfe's post on firehouse, and joined the yahoo group. Never did I expect to see Smurfe take this up a scale! I am sure glad he did, and I am glad I have been given the chance to assist him in doing so. THis is a great thing we got going for us, and maybe we can aslo get that USEMSA project someplace.

In my living room :lol: Steve did tell me yesterday that we have joined the ranks! You can now go to your search engine and find our web site! Kinda reminded me of Steve Martin's excitement in the movie, "The Jerk", when he finds his name in the phone book... "i'm somebody, i'm somebody" :lol:
Seriously, Steve, Brad, Dustin, Sean and Jeremy have done an excellent job (I apologize if I left anyone out), and i can vouch for the amount of hours that has been put into getting this thing going. Alot of hours and a lot of coffee!

A FOOPS sticker would look nice on the back window of my explorer... I have the messenger bag and have been asked millions of times about it! I am getting a shirt as soon as my hubby says I can...he does the whole money thing...

You can understand now why I get so doggonned inspired when I answer someone. It's Brads Fault. He put me up to this. Otherwise , just a quiet, shy and normally calm old fart that gets enjoyment from listening to the grass grow and hearing the flowers bloom. Most of the time though I am waiting for someone to unlock the door so i can enjoy the sounds of nature. I can't understand this, I'm usually sane too, but it"s BRADS FAULT i'm the way I am. He told me to log on and have fun.

I learned about FOOPS from IAMedic. He can be very influencial on some topics :) . I have been reading your posts for a couple years now, IAMedic introduced me to firehouse when I was training to be a first responder looking for senerio sites then he emailed me about FOOPS. I utilized your forums to help me through EMT-B training and from there You could say I have developed an addiction :D .

You may have noticed that I have only posted one topic and that had to do with a recent call. I received some excellent input and appreciated the care and concern from all. I hesitate to get into a discussion of treatments because so many of you have much more training and experience than I do, there are some areas that I would have questions but hesitate because of the stupitity clause in my contract. Most of the time I can figure out the answer but am left hanging on a few. I know that you are all teachers, in a manner of speaking, and the education is appreciated.
This is the reason that I enjoy FOOPS.
Thanks to Julie, jmcmulle3, I didn't quit the class when it got tough and thanks to Brad for FOOPS and sticking with me.
