I'm sure many of you use ePocrates with your Palms as a drug guide.
When I started using a PocketPC, there weren't too many cheap options. I tried them all--Mosby, mobile Micromedex, Harriet Lane, PDR, etc. The one I settled on was Tarascon's Pocket Pharmocopeia (https://www.tarascon.com/products/index.php). It was free for a long time while they were beta testing. Now it only costs $2.29/mo for a 1-year subscription. They're constantly updating and there are a couple of extras in there as well. My girlfriend used the paperback version of this in med school and said everyone carried a copy in their labcoats. She was thrilled when I put a copy on her PDA for her. If you're looking for a quick reference that gives just essential info, Tarascon is the way to go. It can also do drug interactions.
On the other hand, if you're looking for in depth info, I'd recommend Lexi-Comp's Lexi-Drugs (http://store.lexi.com/lexistore/marketing/prodinfo/wince/HHLEXCP0000CE/index.jsp) . I've tried their International version of this software and I love it. It is extremely comprehensive with the following info (not all categories exist for all entries):

US/Canadian/International Brand Names and synonyms
Pharmacologic Category
Use:Unlabeled/Investigational

Pregnancy Risk Factor
Lactation
Contraindications
Warnings/Precautions

Drug Interactions: Increased Effect/Toxicity

Patient Education
Nursing Implications

Lexi-comp also has a bunch of other software selections.
I have both the Tarascon and Lexi-Comp (though outdated since I don't have a current subscription) guides on my iPaq and I find they complement each other quite well.

Just a note to you Pocket PC users. I don't know if you know but Epocrates now has a free version for the Pocket PC format as well as Palm. It is a long time coming.

I have had a Pocket PC for about a year but couldn't make myself buy a subscription to the program. It was plain downright expensive. I did miss the program though as it was the most used on my Palm. It even has a nice little drip calculator built into it now.

So if you have considered making the switch but things like this have held you back ( I know it did me for a while) Check it out.

Vorick, I am not sure if the current pocket PC programs will run on a windows CE unit. I know I have ran programs that say for windows Ce on my pocket PC. I have windows 2003 in mine.

You might give the Epocrates a try to see if it works for you. I think that the windows 2002 and windows 2003 are actually windows CE with new names but don't hold me to that.
