View Full Version : Things I would like to see
Do we have a counter?? If not, I would like to see one on the home page.
Brad, yes, we have a counter. It is on the stats page. It is very detailed. Are you wanting to see a counter on the main page? Very few professional quality pages have counters on them, they have a stats page like what we have

Once we get the ads up and running, I would like to be able to monitor who is getting how many hits.
Is this possible?

Yes, that is all done through the site, it will keep track of every single hit specific to each advertiser ad. The advertiser will be able to log on to the site with a password and access their statistics.

I was not refering to the advertising accessing their stats,
I was refering to US accessing all advertisers stats. :D
Yeah, I will be able to monitor that, I am not sure if it is posted to the general public though

I would like to have a link like Firehouse has that jumps you to the newest posts, so we dont have to scroll down through all the old posts :!:

Jeremy, me to. I have noticed that this forum software don't seem to do it unless there is a setting that I haven't found yet. I have talked to Sean about it. I guess I will put in an email to the forum software people and ask. There may be a chance we will get new forum software that is the same program that firehouse uses, but lets not hold our breath on it LOL.

How about when a new user signs up is there a way to track "how did you find out about this site?" Like if someone signs up because one of us tells them about it type thing? 8) Maybe just a little healthy competition to get more members LOL. Just kidding. It would be cool if we could track it though.

What is holding us back?
Tech, money, time?

Money:
vBulletin is the software that they use and I agree is my favorite.
It cost $85.00 for a year lease of the software or you can purchase outright for $160.00 and then each year after the first it cost $30.00 a year for access to upgrades and tech support.

Would you like some financial assistance?
I can't speak for everyone, but I would be willing to help.
I have been contemplating opening a PayPal account and posting a link. I have been holding back though as I feel when we get the site to where I want it, we will attract advertisers. I have just been holding off because the site just isn't "tweaked" enough for me yet. We are still working on issues to get it to suit me LOL
